Humans are a complicated species
A self centered people
Only comprehending how another person
Has had a negative affect on them
They are easily offended
Taking everything personal
As if the world rotated around them alone
They hurt
Everyone should hurt
They are unhappy
Everyone should be unhappy
They make it a priority to make people suffer
Because they suffer
They won't forgive
Nor will they ever ask for forgiveness
When they are happy again
They don't understand why no one else is happy for them
Yes, mankind is a prideful generation
Doing as they please
Having no regard for those in authority
Believing parents should be bending over backwards
As for the officers of the law
They test by pushing the bounderies
The President? "What a joke!"
No one rules over humanity.
I ask you now
Where is the fear of God?
Where is the love of God?
Where is God?
He is to blame, they say
He doesn't care, they convince themselves
He doesn't exist, they harden their hearts
A self centered species, indeed
Calling what is good, evil
Loving darkness instead of the Light
Fools, saying there is no God.
Have mercy on us, Oh Lord
Have mercy on our generation
Where are the people who bear His name?
Are we praying?
Are we sharing?
Are we loving?
Lord have mercy on us all.
